Welcome to the Center for Family & Preventive Medicine. We are located in the center of Crosby, Texas across the street from Crosby Middle School. Our practice was founded over 40 years ago by Dr. Judson S. Henderson, M.D. and is now under the leadership of Dr. Robert G. Roach, D.O. We are committed to provide quality healthcare to Crosby and the surrounding communities.
In an ever-changing environment of corporate healthcare mergers and government intervention, we take pride in being an independent medical practice employing medical providers from the local community. We aim to offer quality, friendly, family-oriented healthcare with an emphasis on preventive medicine and shared decision making.
Robert “Greg” Roach, D.O.
Family Physician
Hailing from nearby Huffman, Texas, Dr. Roach is familiar with the local area and is proud to serve his hometown community. Dr. Roach completed his undergraduate work with a B.S. in Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1992. He completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth Texas, earning the degree of D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine). He furthered his studies at Nova Southeastern/Broward General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he finished his internship and residency program in Osteopathic Family Medicine. There he was awarded the honor of Outstanding Graduating Resident. Dr. Roach joined the Center for Family and Preventive Medicine and Dr. Judson Henderson in the year 2000. When not in the office he enjoys running for relaxation and fishing for exercise.
Nurse practitioners have been providing direct patient care and have been an integral part of the medical community for nearly half of a century, with nearly 250,000 nurse practitioners in the U.S. to date. Nurse practitioners can provide comprehensive healthcare and often bring a personal touch to the bedside. The nurse practitioners at the Center for Family & Preventive Medicine are well-qualified and take great pleasure in providing healthcare to the community in and around our practice.
